Hot Tuesday

So when I can't golf because of school, it just has to be nice out.

I'm sure everyone has heard about VT. I have been reading some stories about the killer and I can say that you could probably see it coming. He was in the English department, so that means he was probably well-read and fairly smart. They talked to his teacher and she said he had had some very disturbing free-writing assignments. I guess they were not just delusions of grandure in his head. Strike One. Further on, it said that he had been on depression medicine and had violent periods of behavior. Strike Two. Also, there was evidence that he had set a dorm room on fire a little while back. Last I checked that was called arson and also a felony. Strike Three. If that isn't enough, the guy had purchased a Gloch 9mm, and had the purchase slip in his backpack when police found his body next to 30 dead kids and 2 more in another dorm. If you do the math, that's 33 killed. I'm all for guns, but I think there should be heavy background checks for pieces of shit like this guy. Strike Four. You're out. Go back where you came from.

I try not to be biased in situations like these, but the dude was Korean. If I was Korean and lived on or near VT's campus, or anywhere else for that matter, I would know that people were going to stare at me with hate in their eyes today. Pathetic, isn't it? You would think that America and Americans have come a long way in the battle for equality, but events like these really set us back. Living up to your stereotype destroys your credibility and cause. Guess psycho boy never thought of that.

Enough of such evil things. It just gets sickening after a while becase it seems like that is all you hear about these days. I know that most of these events are caused by people who live by a different mentality than we do. I can't imagine growing up anywhere else and being brought up with different values. Thank you Mom and Dad and North Dakota.

Everyone's prayers better go out to the 32 victims from VT. Notice I said 32 and not 33. I think you get what I'm getting at here.
