Not a bad weekend. My sleeping schedule became goofy again thanks to the 1am shift. Finished my Venice puzzle too quickly so now I have to find a new one to feed my addiction. I would like to thank my Mom for giving me this puzzle gene (Chromosome P, I think). I know that my exceptional skills in border piece identification, multi-angle perspective, and overall mastery have come from her. Unfortuantely my eye is set on a 3D representation of the New York City skyline which weighs in at a hefty $150. Might have to create a new column in my Excel spreadsheet entitled Finances.
I have recently recieved the esteemed title of "Auntie D" from Max. I think that this is a great starting point. I am perfectly fine with this. I found a new adult-sized putter at work, and I gave it to Max. We were swinging away in the front yard, which was neat, but he got distracted by fallen berries from the tree. Overall it was a good start to a long career for him. Maybe I'll rise in the ranks to "Uncle D" if I bring him a driver.
I am very happy to have a 4 day weekend coming up over Easter. The downfall is that teachers know of these days off and try to cram a lot of work in before you leave. This week will be busy. Meetings, work, dentist, assignments due, registering for classes, and a wellness class will consume my time. There is a prize at the finish line though. The Sioux play Thursday night in the Frozen Four and from the commercials, I think Jim gets punched out by Roy in the first 5 minutes on The Office. Can't miss the Pam Beasley Battle (cheer for Jim).
I got my classes figured out for next Fall and I'm pleased to say I'll have 3 acutal classes and never have class later than noon on Monday Wednesday and Friday; and only 1 class on Tuesday and Thursday. I'm looking forward to it.
We went to Blades of Glory opening night at the Ultimate Screen. In my opinion, it was Will Ferrell's best comedic movie so far. Non-stop laughs. Go see it. Now.
I'm off to watch Gaz Bar Blues for Canadian History.
I wish you all the better end of all to come
The truth be now here one by one
I am to you extend to none
The memory that fuels the fire
